How long have you been a photographer?
I’ve loved photography for as long as I can remember. About 8 years ago, I turned that passion into a career, and it has been an incredible journey ever since.
Do you shoot weddings or events?
Yes. I photograph weddings, engagements, birthdays, and other special events. Each event is unique, and I work closely with you to capture the moments that matter most.
Booking & Pricing
How much do your photography services cost?
Pricing depends on the type of shoot, location, and duration. I’ll create a personalised quote tailored to your needs after we discuss your vision.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking, with the balance due on the day of the shoot.
How far in advance should I book?
I recommend booking 2 to 3 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date.
Do you travel for shoots?
Yes, I am available for shoots both within South Africa and internationally. Travel fees may apply, and we will confirm these before your booking is finalised.
Before Your Shoot
What should I wear for the session?
Comfort is key. Wear something that makes you feel confident and reflects your style. Neutral tones and interesting textures often photograph beautifully.
Can you help me choose a location?
Absolutely. I have a list of favourite spots around Johannesburg and beyond that photograph beautifully. I’ll suggest locations based on your style, theme, and the mood you want to create.
Can I bring props or accessories?
Yes. Personal props can add a unique touch to your photos. If you need suggestions, I can help source props for a small fee.
During the Shoot
Can I request specific poses or shots?
Absolutely. I encourage you to share your ideas and inspiration. We’ll collaborate to create amazing images and keep the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable.
What happens if it rains?
We can reschedule at no extra cost or move the shoot to an indoor location.
Can I bring a friend or family member?
Of course. You’re welcome to bring someone along for support, as long as it doesn’t distract from the session.
After the Shoot
How long will it take to receive my photos?
You’ll receive your edited images within 2 to 3 weeks after the shoot. If you need them sooner, rush editing is available for an additional fee.
How many photos will I get?
The number of images depends on the package you choose, but I always aim to provide a generous variety for you to select from.
Do you retouch all the photos?
Yes. All final images are professionally edited for colour, lighting, and minor touch-ups. More extensive retouching is available on request.
Do you provide unedited or raw images?
No. I do not provide unedited or raw files, as they do not represent my finished work. Every image you receive is carefully edited to meet my professional standards and ensure a polished, timeless result.
Can I share the photos on social media?
Absolutely. I love seeing my clients share their images. Please credit me as the photographer and avoid altering the images without permission.
Do you provide prints or digital images?
Yes. Most packages include high-resolution digital images. Prints can be ordered separately.

Do you offer albums or wall art?
Yes. I can design custom photo albums, canvases, and wall art so you can enjoy your images in a tangible way.
Can you photograph products or branding content?
Yes. I also offer product, branding, and lifestyle photography for businesses looking to elevate their visual presence.
Do you offer mini sessions?
Yes. Mini sessions are shorter, themed shoots offered on select dates throughout the year, perfect for quick updates or seasonal portraits.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes. Photography gift vouchers are available and make a thoughtful present.
Editing & Usage Rights
Can I edit your photos with filters or effects?
No. To maintain the integrity of my work and the consistency of my style, I kindly ask that you do not apply additional filters, edits, or alterations to the images. Every photo you receive has been carefully edited to reflect my professional standard, and altering them can misrepresent both your memories and my artistry.
Who owns the photos?
As the photographer, I retain the copyright to all images I create. This is standard practice in the photography industry. However, when you book with me, you receive a personal usage license that allows you to print, share, and enjoy your photos freely for personal use. Commercial use such as advertising, resale, or publication requires a separate agreement.
